The partner institutions for Master’s Studies are: African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS), American University of Beirut, Arizona State University, Carnegie Mellon University Africa, McGill University, University of Oxford, Sciences Po, University of Cambridge, University of Cape Town, University of Edinburgh, University of Gondar, University of Pretoria, University of California, Berkeley (UCB), and University of Toronto (U of T).

 

Eligibility: 
To be eligible for the Mastercard Foundation, applicants must:

  • Be a citizen of a sub-Saharan country.
  • They should demonstrate the financial need.
  • Be committed to returning to their home country and giving back to their community after their studies.

African Development Bank Scholarship:

The African Development Bank scholarship intends to support and empower African students by providing them with financial assistance to pursue higher education. Aga Khan Foundation Scholarship for East Africa:

The Aga Khan Foundation commits itself to the improvement of education and the development of scholars from select East African countries. The scholarship is a 50% grant and 50% loan. The loan must be repaid at 5% interest. The payment starts six months after graduation.
